Thanks for that. Great price. I have no need for it though. My wireless works all around my place just fine.
Almost tempted to get one just to have for $14. i :) i

Yeah, me too. Supposed to work better than Ethernet over AC power lines that is better known. You don't really need it I expect. You're hardwired everywhere you want to be by now, and you're not moving anywhere. My situation is more in flux.

Edit : Ahh, it's wireless. Thought this had a hardwired coax-Ethernet adapter as well, but that's separate, and still a bit pricy.

I just looked at this real fast but I believe this basically connects to your current router via the coax connection on the back of most routers. You connect the coax to your router, read existing cable wiring, then put this someplace at the other end of your house. It gets its connection from that then adds Wifi from there. That then allows more coverage.

Dang. $14 for that. I'm tempted, particularly if it's basically plug and play.

BTW, the price and number left seem to be fluxuating, from $11 to $14.

Amazon brings up prices on some algorithm so you don't always see the best prices on items.

There is a clickable link that says "Used & new (21) from $11.99," if you click on that you can buy from the place selling at the $11.99 price new.
You can use that link for anything you buy and choose who you buy it from if it is an item being sold by various vendors like that.

30" x 60" electric height-adjustable desk. $147. 20

This is the same desk I bought about 7-8 months back. It's a great price. It's a good price for a regular desk, much less one that has a motor and is height adjustable.

Bunch of Steam games on sale, too many to list.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is down to $2.99 on Steam. If you SOMEHOW still don't have this, now's the time to get it. The only Battlefield game to have a good single-player game. I've played it through several times. In fact, if I've moved this over to EA's launcher, I might buy this for $3.00 just to have it on Steam as well.

Does anyone know anything about this company, and/or if this is a good deal or if it's something that's going to go POOF in 6 months?

https://deals.lockergnome.com/sales/deg ... dium=email

Also, anyone know of a lifetime deal on a reputable VPN service?

I can't speak for that company Lurch but I can talk about what I use.

CRAP: I didn't even originally click your link Lurch, I thought you were looking for a VPN so typed all that below... Sorry that is not a backup solution.
Hell I am not deleting all of that so will leave it here anyway. Sorry..

=====================================================================================

I talked about this here:
viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1005&p=8505#p8504

============================================
I got a great price on a lifetime VPN. I use this one. It has apps for devices and all OS's. Allows 5 devices to connect.

First right now they have a deal for only $3/month for 3 years. Bad part is they want $99 up front. So that sucks. Not bad if you have it but....you can do better.
They also offer the lifetime service on their site for $300 right now. Forget that!

I originally paid for a week trial and liked it. I broke down and then paid $25 for a year. They offered me a few deals on the infinity lifetime subscription but I still have 9 months so did not do it. Those deals were cheaper than full price but not as cheap as this.

Anyway when you launch the app they have offers. Then I seen them offering the lifetime plan for various prices, I can't remember what right now.
The best I see for lifetime was I think $99 at once point. I was tempted. Not bad for lifetime. I still had time from my first year so I waited..

I then seen a real cheap price on the lifetime advertised on PCMag I think it was. It was from a 3rd party offering, not directly from them.
https://shop.itnews.com/sales/vpn-unlim ... bscription

I think that link is still active, seems to be, I just clicked on it.
It was $39 so I did it. That was as cheap as I think was possible. The code worked fine and I have not had any issues.

So it ended up costing me almost $70 anyway with the first year then getting that but hey...

Just FYI:
I just Googled for you and it seems it is still available for that price on other sites as well like this one. Of course I can't speak for those sites at all.

Now with all of that said, I only use it occasionally, it is not on all of the time. I have not had any major issues with it when I do run it.

If you get it you do so at your own risk etc... In other words I don't want to hear about it if you have problems. i :) i
But so far I like it.

Of course the company could go belly at anytime or change the service etc... Unsure.. I figured if I get even a year or two out of it it paid for itself.

Here is an article that sheds some light on the 3d party offerings like I got. I took a chance anyway but am aware of the possible issues.
So far so good though.

Why is 3gb lifetime $1 cheaper than the 2gb lifetime?

That's a price and size I can live with, if I like how the backup software works. Only thing is, I think they want you to get used to using their service, then in a couple years when everything takes up even MORE room, you're used to their service and you'll pony up whatever they're charging at the time to get more storage.

As far as I've ever seen, there aren't any lifetime VPN services I would want to use, or trust to be around more than 2-3 years.

Free Dlc - premium maps for Battlefield 1

Reddit thread

Note: base game not required to get this.
- Click on 'Get the game'
- Scroll down and click on 'Buy now - 0.00'
- Continue without Battlefield 1 and it will be added to your account

I haven't tried to get it yet, but might as well get it, in case we pick up the main game on the cheap.

EDIT:

OK, I have the premium DLC in my EA acct. They offered to sell me Battlefield 1 for $4.99. I didn't buy it, but I'm sure thinking about it. $5? For all of Battlefield 1? Like Paladin often says, you get one good night of gaming out if it and it's still worth it - cheaper than a single movie ticket.

EDIT 2:

Shit, they probably turded this up with pay to win or loot boxes or something. Well, we'll find out. . . Google is good food.

Well so far so good and if the price is right, which mine was, it is cheaper to buy the lifetime anyway. Pays for itself even if you get just one year out of it (At the good price.) Why would you NOT buy it that way? If it does not last you don't lose much and if it does anything over a year is icing!

I would NEVER pay more than probably $50 to $75 for it. Over that then I think you are taking more a chance.

Doc they also offered me BF1 for $5! Let me know if you get it!.

Anyone else getting that? BF1 for $5??

Shit I agree $5 is almost free. I may grab that just to do. Cheap enough even for Lurch! i :) i

Edit: Hell with it, $5 is too cheap to pass up! I bought it.

If anyone else gets it, let me know.
