Whoa now, it's not like you're buying some off-brand POS. Logitech has served us both well over the years. The Corsairs seem fairly sweet and overly-well-constructed, but c'mon, when's the last time you had to bash someone in the head with your keyboard? Must be going on ten years now. The keyboard SITS there, and you type on it. The aluminum housing would be cool, but it's not really NEEDED. In all likelyhood, the Orion will last as long or longer than the Corsair, based on our past experiences with Logitech. In fact, one of the Corsair models (I forget which) that has mechanical keys and WHITE backlit keys has a reputation for LEDs going out soon and often. The RGB's seem OK though.
Dude I know man. Remember previous conversations we had. you know I LOVE Logitech gear. That is what I have owned and used for a very long time. My mice have always been Logitech for as long as they have been around. I cannot remember the last time I used a non Logitech mouse as my primary. I can say the same for keyboards. If you remember I originally wanted the Orion keyboard.
I looked at the Corsairs and they just looked kind of boring and generic. They are GREAT keyboards though. You guys steered me towards them. i

I started moving towards those as I do like the solid construction and more "standard" mechanical keys etc... I still think they are kind of generic looking aside from the color controlled keys. Still it is functionality that matters in the end so I was good with it.
So I could easily really enjoy one of those K70/95's but I also think I will be fine with an Orion one as well, especially since that was the original one I was looking at and did find a lot to like about it. i

My MAIN worry with this keyboard is those weird keys, how well will they work for normal typing? Also not a fan of that wrist rest. What I am saying is I like anything that works well. i

FUCK! A LITTLE pricey?? $40 for key caps????? That is INSANE!!!!! That is half the price of the keyboard on sale. Damn!!! I won't even be considering those until they go under $20.

Well that is certainly untrue. I don't have a gaming PC. I use my main PC as well my MAIN PC, which I happen to use for gaming. I only have one desktop PC that I do anything on*. I do everything on that one PC man... Video editing, Special VFX, gaming, music mixing, all the usual stuff... I don't always use it every day admittedly, depending on what is going on, but when I do I use it a lot! It is my MAIN PC!!!!!
That is why it is hard for me to rebuild it. I have EVERYTHING installed on that thing. This is why I cannot run a 256 or 512 GB SSD on it. I have too much installed, I use it for more than just gaming and web browsing like most of you guys. It is my main box man. Tons of shit on there.
*My only other desktop is my HTPC but I only use that for usenet and TV/movie watching.
