I bought the season pass for Bioshock 3.

I also bought the whole Far Cry series, Torchlight 2, and Borderlands 1 GOTY edition for my nephew.

I doubt anything could be worse than the dinky little 2 button salvation army brand he is using now.

These have all been on sale before. I have a pretty good idea of when the prices have bottomed out for a particular game because I remember what the prices were last time. The flash sales are best, but also the rarest and don't happen for most games. Season Pass for Bioshock 3 is still too new to go any cheaper - some of that DLC is still under development from my understanding. I could have waited but only would have been wasting time waiting.

Now if Rage or Far Cry 3 hit flash sale status, then I'll bite. Those games have been out for a while and are good candidates for a flash sale. The less you can spend on games you might not like or play, the better.

SKYRIM is $4.99 today on STEAM. I can't tell you if it's something that you'd like to play, but it's a LOT of game for $4.99, and there are a butt-load of mods for it, and it's a great-looking game. Well worth the price.

All Borderlands 2 content is 75% to 80% off today only. I had already bought and gifted a bunch of stuff to friends and family for BL2 - I didn't think it would have gone even cheaper before the sale is over. If I'd waited it would have saved me a little $$, but oh well. My nephew has been having a blast playing BL2 on the PC and summer vacation only lasts so long. I did pick up the Mechromancer for only $3.29 - it's normally $10 and wasn't included in the Season Pass I purchased way back when.

Borderlands 2 GOTY edition is only $9.99.
All 5 headhunter packs are 98 cents a piece.
Borderlands 2: Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 is only $1.64.

So for $16.53 total you can own BL2 along with all existing DLC. That's such an incredible deal for hundreds and hundreds of hours of fun gameplay. I know Doc, Paladin, Lurch and I are already set. This is EVERYTHING for 10$ less than the GOTY is normally by itself. If anyone else has been waiting for this stuff to get cheaper, I've NEVER seen it this cheap before.
