My mouse is getting rough. I use it a LOT. Thinking about getting this, nothing else out there looks better than my 502 for me, and this has a better sensor and thinner cable.

Should be a nice mouse. Logitech seems to be back on top of the mouse game the last few years.

I talked myself out of getting it, then my DPI switched by itself like it does sometimes, so I said fuck it, and I got one. Mine's seen a ton of use, the rubberized coating on the one side peeled off, the DPI issue I have. . . figure I'll get a new one now while it's cheap, put the old one away for backup/hospital use.

Hope the new mouse can use the Logitech Gaming Software like my old 502 could. This one has a new sensor in it, etc. They might have made it so you need to use the new G-hub software. Been putting off using it, since so many ppl were bitching.

Can't be worse than our other mice.
I never liked this mouse overall.

I've never LOVED any mouse, but many of the other options out now don't have the tilt-wheel, and I've grown used to that for a lot of things, so that limited my choices. I like a lot of buttons, which further limited it. Finally, I like the option to switch between freescrolling and clicky-wheel.

Mostly what I don't like about this mouse is the placement and configuration of the thumb-buttons

I have not looked at mice recently, are they dropping the tilt feature now? I also like having that, it is two extra buttons.
I also have to have the free-scroll/click-scroll function.

I am still on the lookout for a new mouse myself.

YES. Be very careful when you're mouse-shopping. Some upscale Logitech mice do NOT have tilt-wheel. I think the wireless mice often lack this. The g602 for example. The MX Masters(but not at least one MX Anywhere), the G403, the G203, the M270. . .The little arrows on the side of the wheel are usually there to indicate tilt. If not there, it doesn't tilt.

Here you go, Paladin:

If money weren't an issue, I think I'd probably get this mouse. Has the same tilt-wheel/hyperscroll on/off of our current mouse, is wireless, and has six thumb buttons. It has that excellent HERO sensor, too. Seems like the best gaming mouse for someone who likes a lot of buttons, and Logitech.

I did not update my address at the best buy website. My billing address was right, but not shipping. They sent my mouse to my old address from before I went into the hospital.

I hope they like their new mouse.

Well I hope you are not going to sit there and not contact them and resolve it!
If you discovered it you can change it.

It was their mistake so they need to rectify it.

It simply was not their mistake. It was mine. I didn't update my shipping address. I have no one to blame but myself.

I've corrected that, and fixed Neweggs as well. Gonna go to another couple places now and fix the shipping address, hope to head that off.

CONTACT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Odds are good they will ship you another. Complain that the site was unclear on the address and never prompted you to change it etc...
The site listed your address correctly under billing so you thought everything was good, it never asked you about the shipping that you SAW! Get it...

COMPLAIN even if it was your fault... You just don't know how this shit works!!!!
Squeaky wheel and all of that.
You don't have much man so WTF do you have to lose. I would call and complain that is how shit gets done. What is the worse thing that could happen, you don't get it like you already don't have it now??

That Saturn V rocket I got went on sale 25% off less than two weeks after I got it so I contacted amazon and asked for the difference. they gave me a $25 gift card.
You don't know unless you ASK!!!!!!!!!!
