[CgC] Cabal Gaming Cartel

On the Uplay store right now you can get World in Conflict. It's an RTS from about 2007. At the time it was very well received. I bought it back then. Really liked it. I know it had multiplayer where multiple people could be on the same team. One infantry, one armor, one air. Not sure if you can play like that against the AI though. It was also one of those games that showed how awesome DX10 was going to be. Still nice looking today even.

Crap. IO heard about this, but avoided it because it's not Origin or Steam. I'm just resistant to using things like Uplay and GOG's launcher, etc. Silly, i suppose. Not really a hardship to use a couple more.

If it has Co-Op, I'll DL it. I saw some video, looks pretty nice, though I'm not a RTS guy, historically.

Bah. Tried to reset my PW twice now. They haven't sent out the reset email, and it's been like a half-hour.

I sorted it out. I used a different email address than usual for this. I gave them the right email, and now I've reset my password. It's installed.

I didn't see it on the Ubi page.

I can't play RTS games. They STRESS me the fuck out!!!!!

I tried a few a very long time ago. Starcraft I think it was. Also I think the first was warcraft before that. I could have the names wrong.

Anyway it was fun at first... build your village... Oh you are being attacked...okay send men there to defend, easy... the another location..you are being attacked... okay.. send some down there..then another area...ARG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RTS games never stop...just an ongoing, faster and faster onslaught!

I LOVE tower defense games because they give you a break in between rounds and you get to build stuff not under as much stress.

Paladin, this is not like a normal RTS. No resource gathering for example. It's more like you command some military units and get some resupply points over time to have new units dropped in. It's more about just pushing forward.

If it is something we can all do coop and only with ourselves, against AI (no humans,) I would at least try it.

The only coop is if you play multiplayer with people on one side and bots on the other. The campaign has no official coop. There was a mod back in the day.
