The time sensitive great deals thread!
Also known as Fast deals!

This thread is to be used for any deals that you guys think may be interesting to fellow members that are time sensitive.
This is for deals that expire the same day or in a few days. Lets say a week or less would be appropriate for this thread!

This is not to be used for deals like games on sale on Steam or anyplace else that have a week or more before they expire.

Feel free to just include links to other places you maybe have posted great deals. In other words you can post a deal in another place but please do a reply here and link to that here as well!

For convenience I added a quick link to this thread on the front page called "fast deals." That will allow you to easily find it so you don't have to search around.
Suggestions on what to call these things is welcome.

The software we use for the forums is actually really great!
One thing it does not offer is the ability to get notified when someone posts a new topic.
You guys won't even see this for awhile unless you check often for new posts.

Anyway the nice thing is once you reply here you will get notified via Email of any new deals.
Unsure why I missed something Doc posted and I think he posted in news which I should have received an email.

Great idea, Paladin. Posting to subscribe.
Also, I posted the deal in NEWS, but messed up and forgot to make it locked. I tried to make a new one and lock it, then move the active thread to a better forum, but failed in the task. THe notification was there, but I couldn't 'neaten it up' like you do. We'll have to talk in TS sometime to see where I went wrong.

I expect we'll all get notifications for a day or 2 as people sign up.

You CAN subscribe without posting too...

But you have to go to the message to do it.

Thanks, good idea Jace. Not that $10 will break the bank, I put a price watch on an item from newegg. Amazon here and there sends me a note if my my wish lists items get higher or lower, like that ;D Bastards also send you notes about accessories to go with stuff you have bought. Got a txt for a charging stand and screen protectors for my FitBit Charge 2, of course 5 mins later I'm down $22 ;p Maybe its 5% easier then the included charger, but it doubles as a phone or tablet holder, so wth.

I see two files to DL but can someone explain this to me. The page says..

The redemption deadline is October 7th, 2017 at 10:00 AM Pacific. You have 14 days left!

Immediately after 10AM Pacific on October 7th, the Steam key will magically vanish as if it were just a figment of your imagination, leaving this cryptic message behind in its wake.

I am confused... I just see two file, no steam key an d if it is on steam why the files???

Did I mention I am confused...

No idea, I didn't look any further when I saw it was a single player game, I just thought someone might want it so posted it here.

Thanks Lurch!

Grim Dawn, another Torchlight 2-type game, at an all-time low price of $7.49.
On sale until Friday the 13th, 10 AM or 11 AM Eastern
http://steamcommunity.com/app/219990

Don't forget about the Humble Bundle - the $1 tier gives you Wurm and Van Helsing, another Torchlight 2 wanna-be with some nice gfx and character. Either one seems WELL worth a single dollar, and you get yet another copy of the original Borderlands to give away.
