Pal, Lexx and I got ours on Black Friday for $99.99. This is the updated model with the more conventional wrist-rest and regular-shaped keys. The old-style keyboards had the WASD keys sculpted so that gamers could easily find them without looking. It seemed a minor thing to me, and I like it, but others threw an unholy fit over it, so they're normal now.
It looks good and is about as noisy as my rubber-domed g15, The keys are Romer-G's, designed to work well with backlights (unlike Cherry's), and are said to have a longer life than Cherry MX's. Some say they're 'mushy'. I haven't worked with a mechanical keyboard in 20 years minimum, and didn't really think about them when I did, so I don't have much of a reference. I confess I don't notice MUCH of a difference from my g15.
