One such thing is the URL tag. Sounds easy to use the URL tag, highlight what you want linked and hit the URL box on top of the editor.
That works but what if you want to link but have some text that is linked and you don't want to see the URL itself?
It is not too hard once you understand.
So what you do is type in a URL as normal.
- Code: Select all
http://cabalcartel.net
Highlight that and select the URL option. That then gives you
- Code: Select all
[url]http://cabalcartel.net[/url]
Now if you want to have some text that is the link do it this way.
Just edit the above by removing the right ] after the first URL tag. Put in an = instead.
Now replace the ] directly after the URL information.
Then type your text. Just keep the text in between the ] and the next [
- Code: Select all
[url=http://cabalcartel.net]TEXT THAT WILL BE DISPLAYED[/url]
So
- Code: Select all
[url=http://cabalcartel.net]Cabel Gaming Cartel[/url]
Gives you this: Cabel Gaming Cartel
It is not too hard but still a pain. I am working on making this easier but for now this is how they want people to do it using BBCODE.
